Refers to excessive self-confidence, the belief that one is always right, and the refusal to listen to the opinions of others.
Origin Story
Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, there lived a carpenter named Amin. Amin was a master craftsman, and his furniture was very popular among the villagers. However, he was very self-righteous and believed that his craftsmanship was the best in the world; he looked down on other carpenters. Once, the village was going to build a new temple, which required exquisite wood carvings. Amin volunteered, but he designed the carvings entirely in his own style and rejected the suggestions of other carpenters. The carvings looked beautiful, but they had some structural flaws. Shortly after the completion of the temple, cracks appeared. The villagers were very disappointed, and Amin learned a lesson. He finally understood that even if he was highly skilled, he couldn't be self-righteous and should listen to the suggestions of others.
