It describes a scene that is empty, vague, and non-existent.
Origin Story
Legend has it that in the depths of the distant Tianshan Mountains, there lived a group of hermits who lived in seclusion in a valley shrouded in mist and clouds, living a life isolated from the world. Outsiders could only vaguely see the looming peaks and temples through the hazy mist, as if everything were ethereal and elusive. A young scholar, having heard of their fame, came from afar, hoping to become their apprentice, but after searching for many days, he only found some broken steles and ruins, as if the heavenly mountain temple was just an ethereal legend, everything having long since vanished into thin air. He left with regret, but a profound question remained in his heart: Was the ethereal wonderland a real existence or a beautiful fantasy of people?
