During the Warring States period, the state of Qin attacked Wei. The wars were exceptionally brutal. In one fierce battle, the Wei army suffered a devastating defeat, and countless soldiers were decapitated; blood flowed like a river. The Qin army was unstoppable, and Wei's cities fell one after another. An aging Wei general witnessed all this and was heartbroken. He looked at the scattered limbs and arms on the ground, his heart filled with hatred for war and a longing for peace.
