It is said that an honest official in ancient China loved society. During festivals or important visits, the government building was beautifully decorated and there was a lively atmosphere. The official personally greeted and saw off the guests, drank with them and chatted. His hospitality extended to everyone, regardless of their wealth or social status. The people loved him for his warm-hearted nature and the government building became a well-known place full of life. One day, a hermit traveling through the land came to the government building. At the sight of the bustle, he exclaimed: "This official knows how to welcome and see off people!" The official replied smilingly: "Social occasions, welcoming and seeing off, are only a small part of life. The true task of an official is in service to the people!"
