Origin Story

话说唐朝时期，长安城里住着一位年轻的秀才，名叫李白。一日，李白听说邻村的张员外家藏有稀世珍宝，便心生贪念，于是便精心策划了一场造谣生事。他编造了张员外勾结匪徒，意图谋反的谣言，并四处散播，一时间，人心惶惶，邻里之间互相猜忌。县令得知此事后，立即派人调查，结果发现这纯属子虚乌有，是李白为了达到个人目的而故意捏造的。县令大怒，将李白抓获，并将其处以流放的刑罚。李白流放途中，深刻反省了自己的罪行，决心改过自新。他发誓以后要行善积德，不再造谣生事，扰乱社会安宁。

During the Tang Dynasty, a young scholar named Li Bai lived in Chang'an City. One day, Li Bai heard that Zhang, a wealthy villager in the neighboring village, possessed rare treasures, and he became greedy. So he carefully planned a scheme of spreading rumors. He fabricated a rumor that Zhang had colluded with bandits to plot a rebellion, and spread it everywhere. For a time, people were panicked, and neighbors became suspicious of each other. After the county magistrate learned about this, he immediately sent people to investigate, only to find that it was completely unfounded, deliberately fabricated by Li Bai to achieve his personal goals. The county magistrate was furious, arrested Li Bai, and exiled him. During his exile, Li Bai deeply reflected on his crimes and determined to reform himself. He vowed to do good deeds in the future and never spread rumors again to disturb social peace.
