从前,在一个偏远的小村庄里,住着一个名叫阿牛的年轻人。阿牛从小就非常懒惰,不爱学习,也不爱劳动。村里人都说他一无是处,连最简单的农活都做不好。一天,村里的老人们决定给阿牛一个机会,让他去城里学一门手艺。阿牛到了城里,却依然我行我素,整天游手好闲,无所事事。时间一天一天地过去了,阿牛一点进步都没有,反而越来越堕落。最后,他不仅没有学会任何手艺,反而欠了一屁股债。阿牛回到村庄后,村民们对他的失望之情溢于言表。他们纷纷摇头叹息,说:“阿牛真是个一无是处的人!”从此以后,阿牛就成了村庄里的笑柄,再也没有人愿意和他来往了。
Once upon a time, in a remote village, lived a young man named Niu. Niu was very lazy since he was a child, he didn't like to study or work. The villagers said he was a good-for-nothing and couldn't even do the simplest farm work. One day, the village elders decided to give Niu a chance and sent him to the city to learn a craft. Niu went to the city, but he remained true to himself, loafing around all day and doing nothing. Time passed, Niu made no progress and became more and more decadent. In the end, he not only didn't learn any craft, but also owed a lot of debts. When Niu returned to the village, the villagers were clearly disappointed with him. They shook their heads and sighed:
