Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Zhang San who aspired to pass the imperial examination and bring glory to his ancestors. He heard of a recluse in the mountains who could turn stones into gold, so he traveled far and wide to visit him. He told the recluse his wish, hoping that the recluse could help him achieve his goal quickly and easily. The recluse smiled and said, “The path to success is not easy and quick, it requires diligent study and perseverance. If you only look for shortcuts, you will probably end up accomplishing nothing.” Zhang San lowered his head in shame, understanding that his previous thoughts were too naive. From then on, Zhang San studied even harder and eventually passed the imperial examination through his own efforts, realizing his dream.
