Once upon a time, in a remote mountain village, there lived a young man named Xiaoshi. He was diligent and kind, working hard every day, but never showing off. His fields were always the best in the village, and his chickens were always the fattest, but he never boasted about his achievements. As the days went by, Xiaoshi continued to live a peaceful life. The villagers got used to his silence and reticence, and gradually, he became unknown. One day, an official from the county came to select a capable person to manage the village affairs. The village head thought hard and suddenly remembered Xiaoshi, so he recommended him to the official. The official came to Xiaoshi's house, saw his diligent and honest character, his serious and responsible work, and was very satisfied. He immediately decided to appoint him as the village head. After Xiaoshi became the village head, he still worked diligently and did many good things for the villagers, eventually becoming a well-known good official. From then on, this previously unknown small village also became famous because of him.
