Origin Story
话说唐朝时期,有个书生名叫李白,才华横溢,但他家境贫寒。一日,他去拜访一位当朝大官,想求得官职。大官见他衣着简朴,便轻蔑地问道:"你有什么本事?"李白不卑不亢,从容地答道:"我虽贫寒,但胸怀大志,治理国家,于我而言,不过是举手投足之事。"大官听后,颇为惊奇,细问之下,才发现李白确有治国之才。于是,大官便力荐李白,让他走上了仕途。李白凭借自己的才能,为国家做出了巨大的贡献,其功绩也被后人所称颂。
During the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai, who was extraordinarily talented but poor. One day, he visited a high-ranking official to seek a position. The official, seeing his simple attire, scornfully asked, "What skills do you possess?" Li Bai, unfazed, calmly replied, "Although I am poor, I harbor great ambitions. Governing the country, for me, is merely a matter of a slight effort." The official, intrigued, questioned him further and discovered Li Bai possessed true governance abilities. The official strongly recommended Li Bai, and he began his career in government. Li Bai, using his talents, made tremendous contributions to the nation, his achievements lauded by future generations.
