Legend has it that after death, souls go to the underworld, where there are nine underground springs, hence the name "Nine Springs". A loyal and righteous man, even after death in the underworld, still misses the affairs of the human world. He dreams of one day returning to the human world to continue serving the country and protecting the people. However, he knows this is only a dream, and can only keep this longing forever hidden in the underworld, becoming a part of his soul. This is the origin of "Nine Springs Underneath", expressing admiration for the loyal and righteous, and also reflecting people's longing and fear for the world after death.
