It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai who came from a poor family but had great ambitions. He wanted to pass the imperial examination and bring glory to his ancestors. He studied hard, day and night, and studied hard for ten years, but repeatedly failed the examination. Many people advised him to give up, saying that he was mediocre and had no chance of becoming an official. But Li Bai did not give up.
