Origin Story

Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, there lived an old woman who loved to talk nonsense. She often sat under a big tree at the village entrance, telling all kinds of strange stories to the villagers passing by. For example, she would say that she had once seen a flying pig, and that the old yellow ox in the village could speak human language. The children listened with great interest, while the adults were already used to her rambling and just smiled. One day, a young scholar passed by the village entrance, and the old woman started her nonsense again. The scholar was initially amused, but gradually realized that many of her stories were full of holes and could not stand scrutiny. So, the scholar patiently explained to the old woman the difference between truth and fiction, and advised her not to talk nonsense anymore. After listening, the old woman hung her head in shame. From then on, the old woman changed her bad habit of talking nonsense and started to speak seriously, and the villagers were all very happy.
