Origin Story
很久以前，在一个繁华的都市里，住着一位德高望重的老人。他一生致力于为民请命，总是用他那充满智慧的言语去劝说那些为非作歹之人。有一天，一位年轻的官员犯下大错，老人为了挽救他，千语万言地劝诫他回头是岸。年轻人起初并不理会，可老人却始终不放弃，一遍遍地讲述着道理，用各种方式阐明利害关系。终于，在老人的坚持下，年轻人被感动了，他痛改前非，重新做人，为百姓做了不少好事。从此，老人千语万言的故事传遍了大江南北，成为了人们学习的榜样。
Long ago, in a bustling city, there lived a highly respected elder. He dedicated his life to pleading for the people, always using his wise words to persuade those who did evil. One day, a young official made a grave mistake. To save him, the elder used thousands of words to advise him to turn back. The young man initially paid no heed, but the elder never gave up, repeatedly explaining the truth and illustrating the stakes in various ways. Finally, the young man was moved by the elder’s persistence. He repented, started anew, and did many good deeds for the people. From then on, the story of the elder’s countless words spread far and wide, becoming a model for people to emulate.
