Origin Story
Legend has it that in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a great scholar named Cai Yong who was well-read and knowledgeable, with outstanding talent. He loved reading since he was a child and had an amazing memory. He was not only proficient in astronomy, geography, music, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, and prose, but also had a deep understanding of historical classics, military strategies, and esoteric arts. Once, Cai Yong met a fortune teller on the street. The fortune teller pointed at his nose and said: “Your fate is marked by peach blossoms, you will meet a destined wife in the future.” Cai Yong laughed and said: “What's the matter with my fate being marked by peach blossoms? I am destined to marry a well-read and intelligent wife so that we can live in harmony and respect each other.” Later, Cai Yong married a woman named Cui Wenji, who was also a talented woman. They lived in harmony and loved each other deeply.
