The famous painter Zhang Daqian once accepted an invitation to attend a friend's gathering. During the banquet, a great calligrapher proposed to paint on the spot, and everyone agreed. Zhang Daqian had not prepared in advance, but instead painted freely in his unique style and created an ink painting. This painting was his improvisation; with a free and easy brushstroke and profound artistic conception, it amazed all the guests present, and later it was collected by a collector for a high price.
