村里有个孩子,名叫小明。小明天生胆小,只要遇到一点风吹草动,就会大呼小叫。有一天,小明在院子里玩耍,突然听到一阵奇怪的声音,他吓得连忙躲到桌子底下,还大呼小叫地说:“有鬼!有鬼!”他的家人听到他的叫声,赶忙跑出来查看,却发现只是一只小猫在玩耍,小明听到声音就吓得不轻,真是胆小如鼠啊!
In a village lived a boy named Tom. Tom was naturally timid and would shout at the slightest provocation. One day, Tom was playing in the yard when he suddenly heard a strange noise. He was so scared that he hid under the table and yelled, “There's a ghost! There's a ghost!” His family heard his cries and rushed out to see what was happening. But they only found a little cat playing. Tom had been so scared that he was truly as timid as a mouse.
