Origin Story

During the Tang Dynasty, Liang Chongyi, a man from Chang'an, served under the famous general Guo Ziyi, who quelled the An Lushan Rebellion, and fought alongside him in many battles. Liang Chongyi was a calm and taciturn man who always carefully executed orders on the battlefield and rarely spoke up. However, he was also astute and had a sharp eye for detail, often spotting the enemy's weaknesses and offering valuable advice to Guo Ziyi. Once, when the enemy troops launched a surprise attack at night, Liang Chongyi, thanks to his keen observation, noticed the enemy in time and quickly reported it to Guo Ziyi, allowing the Tang army to successfully resolve the crisis. Guo Ziyi highly appreciated Liang Chongyi's composure and abilities and promoted him several times. Eventually, Liang Chongyi rose to the rank of lieutenant general and became an indispensable figure in the Tang army. His taciturn nature was not a sign of weakness or incompetence, but rather a reflection of strategic thinking and maturity.
