In a mountain village lived an old carpenter, who was taciturn and dedicated his life to woodworking. Every piece of his woodwork was meticulously crafted, perfectly natural. Although the villagers rarely heard him speak, they respected him immensely. One day, a wealthy merchant from the city came to ask the old carpenter to make a valuable piece of furniture for him. The old carpenter remained taciturn, but silently accepted the commission. He worked diligently day and night, and finally completed a masterpiece that amazed the merchant. The merchant was very pleased and praised the carpenter's superb craftsmanship. The carpenter merely smiled slightly, remaining taciturn, and continued to work on his woodwork. His silence was not indifference, but his dedication to craftsmanship and his peace of life.
