During the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the city of Chang'an was filled with blooming flowers. In the imperial gardens, peonies, paeonies, crabapples, and other famous flowers bloomed in vibrant colors, creating a breathtaking scene. Palace maids played amidst the flowers, their laughter echoing through the palace walls. A young maid named Xiao Mei loved to write poems and paint in the flowerbeds, capturing the beauty of the scene. She wrote, '姹紫嫣红开遍,似这般,都付与断井颓垣,' lamenting the fleeting nature of this beautiful scene. Yet this beautiful sight became an everlasting memory in her heart.
