话说古代有一个贪官，名叫张知府，他鱼肉百姓，搜刮民脂民膏，家中金银财宝堆积如山，却对百姓疾苦视而不见。他为了敛财，无所不用其极，甚至强占民田，欺压良善。百姓对他恨之入骨，却又无可奈何。一天，张知府听说皇帝要来巡视，便赶紧命人修缮府邸，大摆宴席，企图蒙混过关。然而，他的所作所为早已传遍了整个州县，百姓们自发组织起来，将他的罪行昭告天下，要求严惩不贷。最终，张知府被罢官免职，家产抄没，他寡廉鲜耻的行为，也成为了人们茶余饭后的笑柄。他曾经的奢靡生活和穷奢极欲的行为，都成了反面教材，警示后人要洁身自好，为官清廉。
Once upon a time, there was a corrupt official in ancient times, named Zhang Zhifu. He oppressed the people, enriched himself at the expense of the population, and piled up mountains of gold and jewels in his home. He completely ignored the suffering of the people. To obtain wealth, he stopped at nothing, even seizing farmland and oppressing good people. The people deeply hated him but were powerless. One day, Zhang Zhifu heard that the emperor would be visiting. He quickly ordered his palace to be renovated and gave a grand feast to deceive the emperor. But his deeds had already spread throughout the county. The population spontaneously organized, revealed his crimes, and demanded severe punishment. Eventually, Zhang Zhifu was dismissed from office, his property was confiscated, and his shameless behavior became the laughingstock of the people. His extravagant lifestyle and dissolute activities became negative examples, to warn posterity to be virtuous and upright.
