One day, he bid farewell to his hometown and traveled to Chang'an to take the imperial examinations. The journey was long, but his heart was filled with hope, and his steps were light. Upon arriving outside the city of Chang'an, he saw the towering city walls, imposing and magnificent. Li Bai's heart swelled with ambition, and he felt full of spirit and confidence. He believed that with his exceptional talent and fervent enthusiasm, he would surely achieve great success and realize his ideals. He adjusted his clothing, held his head high, and strode confidently into the city of Chang'an. At the examination hall, he saw countless candidates, each one looking tense. Li Bai, however, remained calm and composed. He picked up his brush and wrote swiftly, his thoughts flowing effortlessly onto the paper. One after another, powerful examination papers emerged from his hand. In the end, Li Bai lived up to expectations, achieving the highest rank in the examination. His self-assurance and spirit infected everyone around him.
