In the Tang Dynasty, there was a great poet named Li Bai. He was very intelligent since he was a child and loved reading, especially writing poems. He often strolled in the mountains and fields, enjoying the beautiful scenery of nature while conceiving poems. One day, Li Bai passed through a town and saw an imposing old man sitting by the roadside, looking at a painting. Li Bai walked over and asked curiously: “Old man, what are you looking at?” The old man raised his head, smiled kindly, and pointed to the mountains and rivers in the painting and said: “This is a famous painting, it depicts the magnificent scenery of famous mountains and rivers. Look at those towering mountains, majestic and magnificent; those rivers, lakes and seas, surging and vast; those trees and flowers, full of life, it’s really breathtaking!” Li Bai listened to the old man’s words and felt a surge of ambition in his heart, so he picked up his pen and wrote the famous lines: “I was born for a purpose, thousands of gold coins that I spend will come back.” Later, Li Bai became a poet-immortal of his time with his talent and imposing appearance. His poems have been passed down through the centuries and are still sung today.
