Origin Story
During the Jin Dynasty, General Huan Wen conquered Shu and took the daughter of King Li Shi as a concubine. Huan Wen's wife was very jealous and immediately rushed to Shu to kill the new concubine. She arrived angrily at Li Shi's residence and drew her sword to murder her. However, when she saw Li Shi at the window making up, graceful and beautiful, calm and composed, approaching her calmly, Huan Wen's wife suddenly stopped. Li Shi's beauty and grace deeply moved her, she put down her sword and uttered the famous saying: "I also see you with pity, let alone my old slave."
