Origin Story
It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, a famous poet named Li Bai was writing a poem for a high-ranking official. The high-ranking official asked Li Bai to write a long poem that could summarize his life's achievements and life story. Li Bai readily accepted this challenge. He closed his eyes and meditated, and his mind was filled with the magnificent life of the nobleman: his diligent studies in his youth, his brilliant achievements in his adulthood, and his detachment from fame and fortune in his old age. But Li Bai found that it was extremely difficult to condense such rich life experiences into one poem. He tried hard to organize the language, striving to avoid omitting any important details, but he still felt that it was difficult to describe everything. In the end, he could only helplessly put down his pen and sighed, "Life is like a vast universe, and my poem only touches the surface of it. It is just a drop in the ocean, and it leaves much to be desired."
