Li Bai, however, remained calm and composed. He closed his eyes, thought carefully, and then slowly opened them to begin writing. His pen moved swiftly and elegantly, completing the work in a short time. After all the candidates submitted their works, the magistrate began to review them. Upon reading Li Bai's piece, he could not help but praise it repeatedly, marveling at Li Bai's brilliant talent. Finally, Li Bai won the competition with his exceptional talent and calm demeanor. The county magistrate not only admired his talent but also his calm and composed attitude toward life.
