Origin Story
Jia Baoyu was strictly disciplined by his father, Jia Zheng, who forced him to study. Baoyu had no interest in it and just flipped through books randomly, sometimes reading the Classics, sometimes novels, without any method. Xiren waited on him and watched Baoyu flip through the books without any plan. She didn't understand the situation either and didn't know what to do. Finally, she couldn't stand it anymore and whispered: "Baoyu, you can't read like this. It's pointless. Put down the books and go for a walk!" Baoyu listened to her, put down the books, and went for a walk. Xiren watched Baoyu's back and still didn't understand the situation, but she knew that Baoyu needed freedom, not coercion.
