日暮途穷形容人走到了人生的尽头，处境极其艰难，也形容穷困到极点。

Origin Story
春秋时期，吴国军队攻打楚国，楚国节节败退。楚平王听信奸臣费无忌的谗言，错失良机，最终导致国破家亡。他四处逃窜，却发现已无路可走，只能躲藏在荒山野岭之中，形单影只，孤苦伶仃，到了日暮途穷的地步。他看着夕阳西下，心中充满了悔恨和无奈，他知道自己的一生就这样走向了终结，曾经的辉煌如今都化为了泡影，一切的一切都让他追悔莫及。
During the Spring and Autumn Period, the Wu army attacked the Chu state, and the Chu state retreated steadily. King Ping of Chu listened to the treacherous words of the traitorous minister Fei Wuji and missed a good opportunity, ultimately leading to the destruction of the country and his home. He fled everywhere, but found that there was no way to go, and could only hide in the mountains, alone and helpless, reaching the point of desperation.
