Origin Story

Legend has it that in ancient times, when heaven and earth were first created, everything was in chaos. There was no sun, moon, or stars, and the world was forever shrouded in darkness. People lived in fear and anxiety until Nuwa mended the heavens and brought light. Later, people used "dark heaven and earth" to describe the dark sky, but also to describe social darkness and chaos, or to describe a situation where people were too busy and exhausted. In a remote mountain village, there lived an old Chinese medicine doctor who was skilled in medicine but had an eccentric personality. One day, a young scholar accidentally fell off a cliff and lost consciousness. The villagers were helpless, and only the old Chinese medicine doctor was willing to try to treat him. The old Chinese medicine doctor took the scholar back to his small house, which was filled with various herbs. The light was dim, the air was humid, like a dark pharmacy. The old Chinese medicine doctor guarded the scholar day and night, carefully preparing prescriptions, and after several days of treatment, the scholar finally woke up. The scholar recalled the scene before he lost consciousness, only remembering the darkness, he could see nothing, but when he woke up, he saw the old Chinese medicine doctor doing his best to treat him in the dark house, he was deeply touched. From then on, he devoted himself to the study of medicine, hoping that in the future he could also be like the old Chinese medicine doctor, saving lives and healing the injured in the darkness.
