Origin Story
公元945年，后晋军队被契丹大军包围在阳城，粮草断绝，军心涣散。面对困境，主将张彦泽和皇甫遇犹豫不决，不知该如何是好。这时，年轻将领苻彦卿挺身而出，力劝两位主将不要束手就擒，而是应该抓住契丹军后勤补给线薄弱的时机，出奇制胜。他分析了敌我双方的形势，认为契丹军虽然兵力强大，但长途跋涉，后勤补给存在风险。他建议采取夜袭，绕到契丹军的后方，打他们一个措手不及。张彦泽和皇甫遇听从了苻彦卿的建议，率领将士们在夜幕的掩护下，悄悄地绕到契丹军的后方，发起了猛烈的进攻。契丹军猝不及防，被打得措手不及，大乱阵脚。后晋军乘胜追击，最终大获全胜，成功地解除了阳城的包围。这场战役的胜利，不仅扭转了战局，也使得后晋军队避免了被全歼的命运。苻彦卿的英勇和智慧，也为他赢得了极高的声誉。这个故事告诉我们，在面临困境时，不应该轻易放弃，而应该积极寻找解决问题的方法，只有这样才能摆脱困境，取得最终的胜利。
In 945 AD, the Later Jin army was besieged in Yangcheng by the Khitan army, their supplies cut off and morale low. Faced with this difficulty, the commanders Zhang Yanze and Huangfu Yu were hesitant. Then, a young general, Fu Yanqing, stepped forward, urging them not to surrender, but to seize a chance when the Khitans' supply lines were weak. He analyzed the situation, observing that despite the Khitan army's strength, their long campaign had made their supply lines vulnerable. He proposed a night attack, flanking the Khitan army to take them by surprise. Zhang Yanze and Huangfu Yu followed his advice, leading their troops under the cover of darkness to launch a surprise attack. The Khitan forces were caught off guard, thrown into chaos, and routed. The Later Jin army pursued its advantage, achieving a great victory and lifting the siege of Yangcheng. This victory not only turned the tide of the war, it saved the Later Jin army from annihilation. Fu Yanqing's bravery and wisdom earned him great renown. This story teaches us that in the face of adversity, we shouldn't readily give up but actively seek solutions to overcome challenges and achieve ultimate victory.
