For his own ambition, he used any means necessary, harming the people and extorting their wealth, ultimately leading to his ruin. His actions fully embody the meaning of “cánmín yǐ chěng”. To achieve his own ulterior motives, he sacrificed the interests of the people and even the interests of the entire country, ultimately harming himself and leaving a legacy of infamy. He abused his power, oppressed the people, levied heavy taxes, and caused the people to live miserable lives. His atrocities provoked strong resistance from the people, ultimately leading to the downfall of his rule. His story is a true portrayal of “cánmín yǐ chěng”.
