Origin Story

tang xuanzong shiqi, yang guozhong pingjie jiejie yang guifei de chong'ai, quanqing chaoye, zhisou kere. ta feiyangaobù, tanzhang wangfa, chaochénmen dui ta dou jing'eryuānzhī, shengpa daofeile ta. zhe zhèngshì du fu shiju “zhisou kere shi jue lun, shen mo jin qian cheng xiang chen” de zhenshi xiezhao. yang guozhong de quanli lai de rongyi, dan ta wangjile quanli de beihou shi ze ren, zhongyu luode ge shen baininglie de xiachang. zhege gushi gaosu women, quanli sui hao, dan buneng lan yong, fouze bì jiang zi shi qi guo.

During the Tang Dynasty, Yang Guozhong, relying on his sister Yang Guifei's imperial favor, became powerful and influential. He was arrogant and corrupt, and the ministers kept their distance from him for fear of offending him. This is vividly depicted in Du Fu's poem: "炙手可熱勢絕倫,慎莫近前丞相嗔". Yang Guozhong's power came easily, but he forgot the responsibility that came with it, and eventually ended up disgraced and ruined. This story teaches us that while power is good, it cannot be abused, otherwise one will surely reap what one sows.
