During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, wars were frequent, and the people suffered from poverty. There was a man named Hou Jing, who was ambitious and, in order to seize power, launched several rebellions, brutally killing countless innocent people. He finally failed and died, and the people were so angry at his atrocities that they brutally killed him after his death, and even completely burned his body and scattered his ashes to express their anger and hatred.
