Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a vicious dog in a village. Relying on its owner, the village head, it ran rampant, biting anyone it encountered. It frequently invaded fields, scaring farmers and stealing crops. The villagers, fearful of the village head's protection of the dog, dared not speak out. One day, an old man working in his field was attacked by the dog. Fed up, the old man picked up a stick and gave the dog a sound beating. The dog ran to the village head to complain, but the village head simply said, "That dog is usually well-behaved; it must have started the trouble itself." From that day on, the dog never dared to bite anyone again.
