It is said that Song Jiang was a bandit on Liangshan Lake, and he had many brave men under his command. Among them was a particularly capable and martial general named Li Kui, who was impetuous and quick-tempered. One day, Song Jiang summoned his men to discuss important matters. Li Kui angered Song Jiang because of his rude words and manners. Song Jiang flew into a rage and started to scold Li Kui with a torrent of insults. His voice was thunderous.
