在一个古老的村庄里，住着一位名叫阿牛的老农。阿牛为人善良，勤劳朴实，但他有一个致命的弱点——疑神疑鬼。村里人常常送他新鲜的蔬菜瓜果，但他总是怀疑里面藏着什么毒药。即使是自己的家人，他也时常怀疑他们别有用心。 有一天，阿牛的儿子从集市上买回一只肥美的鸡，打算晚上炖汤给父亲补补身子。可阿牛却疑神疑鬼地检查鸡的羽毛、鸡爪子，甚至用鼻子嗅了又嗅，仍然不放心。他觉得这鸡肯定有问题，可能是别人故意送来害他的。儿子百般解释，阿牛依然固执己见，最终把鸡扔了。 不仅如此，阿牛还疑心邻居们总是对他指指点点，背后说三道四。他甚至开始怀疑自己的影子，认为那是某个神秘人物的化身，在跟踪他。他整日惶恐不安，无法正常生活，精神也日渐憔悴。 他的邻居们看不下去了，决定帮助他。他们找到了一位智者，智者告诉阿牛，要相信善良，不要总是疑神疑鬼。阿牛听后有所醒悟，开始尝试放下心中的疑虑。他慢慢地重新融入村庄的生活，与邻居们和睦相处。日子一天天过去，阿牛的疑神疑鬼也渐渐消失了，他终于过上了平静快乐的生活。
In an ancient village, there lived an old farmer named An Niu. An Niu was kind, hardworking, and honest, but he had a fatal flaw—suspicion. Villagers often gave him fresh vegetables and fruits, but he always suspected that there was poison hidden inside. Even his own family, he often suspected them of having ulterior motives. One day, An Niu's son bought a plump chicken from the market, intending to stew it for his father's health. But An Niu suspiciously examined the chicken's feathers and claws, even sniffing it repeatedly, still feeling uneasy. He thought there must be something wrong with the chicken; someone must have sent it to harm him. His son explained it in every way, but An Niu remained stubborn, eventually throwing the chicken away. Not only that, An Niu also suspected that his neighbors were always pointing fingers at him and gossiping behind his back. He even started to doubt his own shadow, believing it to be the incarnation of some mysterious figure, tracking him. He lived in constant fear, unable to live a normal life, and his spirit gradually weakened. His neighbors couldn't stand it anymore and decided to help him. They found a wise man, who told An Niu to believe in goodness and not always be suspicious. After hearing this, An Niu realized and began to try to let go of his doubts. He slowly reintegrated himself into the village life, getting along well with his neighbors. As days went by, An Niu's suspicion gradually disappeared, and he finally lived a peaceful and happy life.
