It was an era of frequent wars, smoke and ashes everywhere, and people fled in fear. In a remote village lived an old farmer and his grandson. They had lived in peace and simplicity for generations. However, the war eventually spread to this village. One day, groups of soldiers swarmed into the village, looting, killing, and burning. For a time, the village turned into a hell on earth. The old farmer and his grandson hid in their house, trembling with fear, listening to the cries coming from outside. The bloody air was unbearable. When they cautiously walked out of their house the next morning, what they saw was a scene of devastation: houses burned down, fields trampled, dead and wounded villagers everywhere, and a pungent smell of blood permeated the air. The old farmer and his grandson silently buried the bodies of the villagers, their hearts filled with sorrow and anger. They knew this was only the beginning, and more horrors awaited them.
