Origin Story

hěn jiǔ yǐ qián, zài yīgè fán huá de jìshì shàng, zhù zhe yī wèi míng jiào ā niú de nián qīng rén…

Long ago, in a bustling marketplace, lived a young man named A Niu. A Niu was hardworking and made a living selling fruit. Although his life was simple, he lived peacefully. One day, a wealthy merchant passing by saw that A Niu's fruits were fresh and plump and bought them in large quantities. A Niu earned a lot of money. Having tasted success, A Niu did not settle for the status quo. He began to think about how to make even more money. He invested all his money in a larger business but, due to lack of experience, suffered losses and eventually lost everything. A Niu's experience teaches us that one should be content with what one has and should not be greedy; otherwise, it will backfire.
