During the Anti-Japanese War, a unit of the Eighth Route Army encountered Japanese troops in the enemy's rear. The Japanese army, relying on their superior equipment, attempted to quickly break through our defenses and attack our base. However, the Eighth Route Army soldiers had already made full preparations. They were calm and decisively chose to strike head-on! At the start of the battle, the Japanese army was met with fierce fire from our army, immediately falling into a passive state. The Eighth Route Army soldiers fought bravely, using flexible tactics and unwavering determination to completely defeat the Japanese army's attacks. The battle lasted all day, and the Japanese suffered heavy casualties, eventually being forced to retreat. This head-on strike not only shattered the Japanese army's offensive plans, but more importantly, greatly boosted the morale of the anti-Japanese army and people, laying a solid foundation for the final victory of the war.
