Origin Story
战国时期,秦国派使者前往赵国,企图通过外交手段逼迫赵国割让土地。赵王虽然心中不愿,但碍于秦国的强大实力,不得不接受了秦国使者的无理要求,发表了一番违心之论,同意割让土地。大臣蔺相如却看出了赵王的为难,他挺身而出,义正辞严地驳斥了秦国使者的无理要求,维护了赵国的尊严。
During the Warring States period, the State of Qin sent envoys to the State of Zhao, attempting to force Zhao to cede land through diplomatic means. Although King Zhao was unwilling in his heart, due to the strong military strength of Qin, he had to accept the unreasonable demands of Qin’s envoys and made a hypocritical statement, agreeing to cede land. However, the minister Lian Po saw the difficulties of King Zhao. He stepped forward and sternly refuted the unreasonable demands of the Qin envoys, thus upholding the dignity of Zhao.
