In the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai who, in his youth, traveled throughout the land and met a military commander named Gao Shi. Gao Shi was an upright and capable warrior, beloved by the people. Li Bai, on the other hand, was a gifted poet whose poems were widely known. The two men got along well and became friends. When Gao Shi was once sent to war, Li Bai, regardless of his own safety, traveled far to see him off. During Gao Shi's campaign, Li Bai tirelessly cared for him, providing him with food and clothing, and even personally bringing him news from the battlefield to help and ease his worries. When Gao Shi returned victorious, he was very grateful for Li Bai's dedication, and their friendship grew even stronger.
