During the Western Han Dynasty, Yan Yanyen, the prefect of Zhuojun, was known for his integrity and incorruptibility. One day, he received a report that the Gao family was rampant in the countryside and oppressing the people. Yan Yanyen did not act rashly, but secretly investigated and collected evidence. His every move seemed thoughtful and unfathomable, causing the Gao family to be uneasy and wondering what Yan Yanyen had in mind. In the end, Yan Yanyen obtained conclusive evidence and exposed the crimes of the Gao family to the public, bringing them to justice, much to the delight of the people. Yan Yanyen's judgment was so profound and his actions were so mysterious that local officials and people alike were in awe of him.
