Origin Story

Once upon a time, a fierce snipe lived by a river. One day, it found a plump clam by the river, so it wanted to eat the clam. The clam tightly closed its shell, and the snipe could not open it no matter how hard it tried. The snipe and the clam were thus deadlocked, neither willing to yield. At this time, a fisherman passed by, saw the snipe and clam at a standstill, quietly approached, caught the snipe and clam together with a net, and took them home. The snipe and clam, because of their struggle, both became the fisherman's spoils of war, and in the end neither got anything good.
