古人用箭射出的长度做度量,每箭的距离约为一百三十步左右。相当于一箭射程的距离。比喻相距不远。

在古老的时代,有一个名叫李白的少年,他生性爱好射箭,常常在山野间练习箭术。一天,他来到一个山谷,发现谷口处有一棵参天古树,树下有一块巨大的岩石。李白好奇地走近,想要攀岩登高,却发现岩石光滑陡峭,根本无法攀爬。他心生一计,用弓箭射出一支箭,将箭头深深地射入了岩石中,然后利用箭杆做支撑,慢慢地爬上了岩石。站在岩石上,李白放眼望去,只见群山连绵,云雾缭绕,景色十分壮观。他情不自禁地感叹道:“这山谷真是美不胜收,真是让人流连忘返。我离这里最近的村庄也只有一箭之地,我要回去告诉村民们,这山谷的美景,让他们也来欣赏!”
