在一个遥远的村庄里,住着一位名叫李大宝的农夫。他勤劳善良,却总是命运多舛。他种的粮食经常被虫害侵袭,他养的牲畜也经常生病,生活过得十分艰难。 有一天,李大宝去镇上赶集,他路过一家店铺,看到里面摆满了各种各样的商品,琳琅满目。店主是一位慈眉善目的老爷爷,他热情地招呼李大宝进来看看。李大宝看到货架上摆放着一串串红彤彤的辣椒,他想起自己家里的辣椒也快成熟了,于是便向老爷爷询问价格。老爷爷笑着说:“这辣椒都是新鲜采摘的,又辣又香,你买回去可以做成辣椒酱,绝对是美味佳肴。而且我还可以送你一句好彩头:‘万事大吉’!” 李大宝听了老爷爷的话,觉得很有道理,于是便买了一些辣椒回去。他把辣椒做成了辣椒酱,味道果然很香辣可口。他把辣椒酱拿到集市上出售,没想到生意非常好,很快就卖光了。 从此以后,李大宝的日子越来越好,他种的粮食丰收了,他养的牲畜也健康了,生活过得比以前幸福多了。李大宝经常想起老爷爷送的那句祝福语:‘万事大吉’,他觉得老爷爷的祝福真是灵验!

In a distant village, there lived a farmer named Li Da Bao. He was hardworking and kind, but his fate was always full of misfortune. His crops were often infested with pests, his livestock often fell ill, and his life was very difficult. One day, Li Da Bao went to the market in town. He passed by a shop and saw that it was filled with all sorts of goods, a dazzling array. The shopkeeper was an old man with kind eyes who warmly welcomed Li Da Bao. Li Da Bao saw that on the shelves were a string of bright red chili peppers. He remembered that the chili peppers in his garden would soon be ripe, so he asked the old man about the price. The old man smiled and said, “These chili peppers are freshly harvested, spicy and fragrant. You can make chili sauce with them, a delicious dish. And I can give you a good omen: 'Everything goes well!'” Li Da Bao thought that the old man was right, so he bought some chili peppers to go home. He made chili sauce with the peppers, and it was indeed very spicy and delicious. He took the chili sauce to the market to sell, and surprisingly, business was very good and it was sold out quickly. From that day on, Li Da Bao’s life got better and better, his crops were bountiful, his livestock was healthy, and his life was much happier than before. Li Da Bao often remembered the old man’s blessing, “Everything goes well!” He felt that the old man’s blessing was truly effective!
