Origin Story

Once upon a time, in a remote mountain village, lived a young man named An Niu. From a young age, An Niu was naive and imaginative. He often looked at the sky and imagined himself as an eagle, soaring freely in the vast expanse; he often sat on the ridge of a field and imagined himself as a great scientist, inventing all sorts of magical machines; he often sat by the river in a daze and imagined himself as a happy little fish, frolicking freely in the clear river water. However, An Niu's fantasies were always unrealistic and lacked a realistic foundation. He once planned to build a bridge to the moon, using bamboo poles and wooden planks, but the bamboo poles were not long enough and the planks were not strong enough, and the bridge collapsed before it was completed. He once planned to invent a machine that could teleport, using various bottles and jars and old parts, but the machine could not only not move, it also made a piercing sound that scared away the village's chickens and ducks. The villagers all thought An Niu was foolish, his fantasies were always so unrealistic. But An Niu did not give up his fantasies because of this. He still persisted in his dreams, continuing to imagine freely in his own world. Although his dreams were always unrealistic, his enthusiasm and imagination were contagious to the people around him. They began to understand An Niu, and tried to appreciate his unique way of thinking. In the end, An Niu's story did not have a perfect ending, but his unrealistic fantasies became a beautiful legend, passed down in the mountain village.
