During the Tang Dynasty's reign of Emperor Taizong, there lived an official named Li Jing who was known for his integrity and justice. One day, while inspecting a remote village, Li Jing discovered that the village bully was oppressing the villagers, collecting illegal taxes, and making their lives unbearable. Li Jing, filled with righteous indignation, went to the bully's house. Confronted with the arrogant bully, Li Jing, with righteous words and a stern tone, exposed the bully's crimes, condemned his evil deeds, and severely reprimanded his behavior. The bully, facing Li Jing's righteous fury and being unable to defend himself, could only admit his guilt. Li Jing immediately ordered the bully's arrest, delivering justice to the people. From that day on, peace returned to the village; the villagers lived in harmony and prosperity, and all praised Li Jing as an upright and incorruptible official.
