Origin Story
话说宋朝时期，有个叫窦禹钧的人，他一生勤奋好学，为人正直。他与妻子育有五个儿子，个个聪明好学，也都非常孝顺。窦禹钧非常重视对儿子的教育，不仅自己亲自教导他们，还聘请了许多名师来教导他们。在一次科举考试中，他的五个儿子竟然都高中状元，这在历史上可是绝无仅有的事情。消息传出，举国上下都为之惊叹，称赞窦禹钧的教育有方，并把他家的“五子登科”故事传为佳话，从此以后，“五子登科”就成为人们结婚时表达祝福的吉祥词语。
It is said that during the Song Dynasty, there was a man named Dou Yujun, who was diligent in his studies and upright in his conduct throughout his life. He and his wife had five sons, each intelligent and studious, and all were very filial. Dou Yujun attached great importance to the education of his sons, not only personally teaching them, but also hiring many famous teachers to instruct them. In an imperial examination, his five sons actually all passed, which is unprecedented in history. The news spread, and the whole country was amazed, praising Dou Yujun's excellent teaching methods, and the story of his "Five Sons Achieving Success" became a legend. Since then, "Five Sons Achieving Success" has become a congratulatory phrase used at weddings.
