Origin Story

During the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai. Although he was not handsome, he was extremely talented, and his poems are still recited by people today. When Li Bai was young, he traveled everywhere. Once, he visited the home of a wealthy merchant. The merchant saw that Li Bai was poorly dressed and unattractive, so he despised him and did not give him good wine and food. Li Bai didn't care, he continued to chat and compose poems. His talent deeply impressed the wealthy merchant. The merchant realized his mistake, apologized to Li Bai, and treated him with the best food and wine. This story tells us that we shouldn't judge people by their appearance, but rather look at a person's inner qualities and talent.
