北风呼啸，寒冬腊月。一个衣衫褴褛的乞丐，冻得瑟瑟发抖，来到一户富贵人家的门口，恳求施舍一口热粥。然而，那户人家的大门紧闭，门内传来的是冷酷无情的拒绝声。乞丐失望地离开了，最终冻死在了寒冷的街头。这户人家对乞丐的冷漠无情，成为了街坊邻里茶余饭后的谈资，也成为了一个警示故事，提醒人们要富有同情心和爱心。
A howling north wind, in the depth of winter. A ragged beggar, shivering with cold, came to the door of a wealthy household, begging for a bowl of hot porridge. However, the door of that house was tightly closed, and from inside came a cold and heartless refusal. Disappointed, the beggar left and eventually froze to death on the cold street. The coldness and ruthlessness of this household towards the beggar became the talk of the neighborhood after dinner, and it also became a cautionary tale, reminding people to be compassionate and loving.
