在一个偏远的小山村,住着一位年迈的木匠。他技艺精湛,雕刻出的木偶栩栩如生,但因为村子闭塞,他的作品很少有人欣赏。有一天,一位著名的雕塑家来到村里写生,偶然间看到了木匠的作品,他被深深地吸引了,对这位默默无闻的老人另眼相待。他不仅购买了木匠所有的作品,还邀请木匠去城里学习更先进的雕刻技法。木匠欣然前往,从此他的作品名扬四海,但他从未忘记小山村里那位慧眼识珠的雕塑家,是他改变了木匠的一生。
In a remote mountain village, there lived an elderly carpenter. He was skilled in his craft, carving lifelike puppets, but because the village was isolated, few people appreciated his work. One day, a famous sculptor came to the village to sketch, and by chance saw the carpenter's works. He was deeply attracted and treated the unknown old man with special consideration. He not only bought all the carpenter's works, but also invited the carpenter to the city to learn more advanced carving techniques. The carpenter gladly went, and from then on his works became famous far and wide, but he never forgot the sculptor from the mountain village who had changed his life.
